2024/2025 RATES
The Rates Search includes the ability to view the rates for 2024/2025. This includes Waimate District Council (WDC) rates based on WDC’s 2024/25 Annual Plan and also Environment Canterbury (Ecan) Rates, which Ecan set independently, and WDC collects on their behalf.
PROPOSED 2025/2026 RATES
Also included in the rates information are the proposed 2025/2026 rates based on year 1 of Council’s draft Long Term Plan 2025-2024. Consultation on Council’s Long Term Plan is open and closes at 12pm on 5 May 2025. Following submission hearings and decisions, Council expects to adopt the Long Term Plan and finalise the rates for 2025/2026 on 30 June 2025.
Please note that the ECan rates for 2025/2026 are based on ECan’s draft Annual Plan, so are similarly indicative until the rates are set.
The 2025/2026 Council and ECan rates will be set in July 2025, and assessments and invoices issued then.
