Pool party back on!

It's back on! The Pool Party at the Norman Kirk Memorial Swimming Pool in Waimate has been rescheduled for Saturday 9 February (1-3pm).

The party was originally scheduled for November, but unfortunately it had to be postponed due to bad weather. It was decided a new date later in November or early December would be too close to Christmas and February was likely to result in better weather.

With free entry and a free sausage sizzle, Mayor Craig Rowley is confident plenty of people will come along to enjoy a family-friendly, fun event that will also include new inflatable toys.

As well as the new inflatable toys, the giant inflatable crocodile will also be in the pool.

The pool party is on Saturday 9 February from 1-3pm. Entry is free to everyone.
