From 2020 older style wood burners will no longer be able to be used in the Waimate Clean Air Zone (see the map below).
This could affect you if your property is less than two hectares.
You can replace your older style burner with a low or ultra-low emission burner or you can choose to switch to a heat pump, pellet fire or another form of heating.
