Rural Recycling Drop Off Facilities Closures

To prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 virus, the rural recycling drop off stations have closed until further notice.

This is a necessary measure to ensure the health and safety of residents and contractors is the first priority.

During this period, recycling can be placed in your 240L Council bin if you have one, or taken to the Resource Recovery Park at 61 Racecourse Road, Waimate.

The Resource Recovery Park is open every Thursday between 10.30am and 4.30pm. Recycling and household rubbish is to be in tied rubbish bags (up to 60L). Up to 3 bags per visit will be accepted.
