Rating Information Database

RATING INFORMATION DATABASE

The Rating Information Database (RID) is a list of information that is used to set and assess rates on a particular rating unit by Waimate District Council and Environment Canterbury.

Public notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 28 of the Local Government (Rating) Act 2002 that the Rating Information Database for the Waimate District is available for public inspection.

Inspection can be made by all members of the public, without fee, at any time, by accessing the web page: waimatedc.govt.nz/property-rates/rates/a-search-your-property

Alternatively, inspections may made at the Local Government Centre during business hours.

OWNER INFORMATION WITHHELD FROM RATING INFORMATION DATABASE, ON REQUEST

Pursuant to Section 28C of the Local Government (Rating) Act 2002 an owner whose particulars are included on the Waimate District Council Rating Information Database (RID) may request the local authority to withhold his or her name or postal address (or both) from the database.
