Proposal to Close Road - Waimate Christmas Parade

PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROAD

TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974 and the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that the Waimate District Council and the NZ Transport Agency, for the purpose of the Waimate Christmas Parade propose to close the following roads:

Dates of Closure:
10:00am to 3.00pm Saturday 5 December 2020

State Highway

State Highway 82 Queen St (Cameron St to Goldsmith St)

Local Streets

Cameron Street(Wall St to Queen St)

Wall St (Rugby St to Cameron St)

Goldsmith Street (John St to Queen St)

During the period of closure, the alternative route for State Highway 82 (Queen St) will be via Regent St, Exeter St,

Herbert St, Harris St, Mill Rd

Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and grounds thereof in writing before 23 November to Jude Ward, NZTA, P O Box 1479, Christchurch.
