This Waimate Lakes Camping Season saw the implementation of a camping registration app ‘Penny’ at Fisherman’s Bend. The trail will aim to address the issue of campers paying their fair share and keeping fees to a minimum.
The much-anticipated Waimate District Library renovation and extension was unveiled in December. The new design and layout will help cope with the increased demand on the community service.
